Laurence Sinclair critically injured on the Esperance Race Track. He died from his injuries the 4th January.
The small town of Grass Patch was originally gazetted as Warren Town site on 1st August. It was re gazetted as Grass Patch on 19th December. The name was adopted from a farm located to the east of the town site.
