The Esperance Municipality was abolished. The Municipality had continued from 1885 to 1908, when it was dissolved and incorporated in the Esperance Roads Board. The Esperance Roads board had a Town and Country ward.
William (Little Willie) Dempster and family left the last of the Dempster family at the homestead left and continued on another farming property in the Esperance district.
