Mt. Ridley was utilised by the Dempsters as a staging point and depot on the way to Frazer’s Range station.
Some coaches and teamsters passed that way to the Goldfields in the late 1800’s.
Evidence could be found of a well and old horse yard fencing. Interesting rock paintings can be seen at Mt. Ridley.
